CE+T Technics and Ecology

Thanks to its Dimoline technology, CE+T Technics was already an environmental precursor years ago, even well before the advent of LED technology.

We were already talking about and realising significant reductions in CO₂ with halogen sources.

To illustrate this approach and give you an idea of the global stakes riding on it, we should like to share with you a few edifying statistics below:

According to our estimates, in a large city such a Paris there are some 5 million 50 W halogen bulbs, or a total potential energy demand of 250 MW.

If we bank on power consumption of 1095 GWh/yr (12 hr x 365 days x 250 MW), given that the production of 2000 MW generates 1.000 metric tons (1 KTon) of CO₂, Paris’s 50 W halogen bulbs alone generate 548 KTons CO₂/yr.

Our Dimoline products yield energy savings on the order of 50%.  If used in the above example, they would cut CO₂ production by 274 KTons CO₂/yr!
